Aldar Sudanese Community Center in the Greater Triangle area in North Carolina

Goals:

Aldar main goal is to establish and build the Sudanese Community Center in the Greater Triangle area (RTP) in North Carolina. Aldar main purpose is to:

Foster meaningful relationships between children, youth and families of the Sudanese community in the Triangle area.
Educate the youth about Sudanese culture, folklore, and language.
Establish meaningful connections between the American public and the Sudanese community through cultural and social events and outreach.
Organize Sudanese culture and social events, and celebrate Sudanese heritage and traditions.

The Corporation is organized exclusively for the following charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and is formed to:

Provide support to immigrants and refugee families who have been resettled in the U.S through free English classes, computer classes to help them assimilate into American society while preserving their heritage.
Provide discounted daycare services to allow for parents to go out and become active and engaged with society and as well as being able to work and provide for their families.

organize weekend programs to educate children and youth about Sudanese culture, folklore, and language. Offer prayers, social services, and religious instructions.
Cultural events and festivals
Focus on Women’s development by providing discounted driving lessons, English classes.
Acquire, establish, retain and maintain a fund or funds to be held, invested and used exclusively for charitable, educational or religious purposes.
